          Three high school seniors, who played together on Greendale Youth Football teams, received college scholarships from the organization.

          Recipients are Andrew Witkowiak, son of Pat and Paul Witkowiak; Ben Mattrisch, son of Rodney and Dawn Mattrisch, and Joe Barriere, son of Carl and Jill Barriere.  Barriere and Mattrisch plan to attend Edgewood College in Madison, while Witkowiak will head to UW-Platteville this fall.

         The youth football league originally planned to provide
two scholarships, but  made a special award to Barriere for his
contributions to the program as an assistant coach last season.
Football injuries prevented him from playing on the varsity team that won the Woodland Conference championship last year.
